Chatton Trout Fishery is open every day from 8:30am.
The fishery boasts impressive views
overlooking the Cheviot Hills in a beautiful tranquil setting.
'Chatton Lake' is 4 acres and 'Ross Lake' is approx 3 acres, both lakes are stocked
with Rainbow, Blue and Brown Trout (all Brown Trout must be returned to the lake). They are both all
bank fishing lakes with no obstructions for casting.
As a big 'thank you' to our anglers we now have 'Loyalty Cards'. After the purchase
of five fishing permits the Loyalty Card entitles you to your next visit to the Fishery free of charge.
The tackle shop provides anglers
with a selection of all fishing equipment including clothing at very competitive prices. We have a selection of flies,
lines, reels and rods etc. We are agents for Sharpes of Aberdeen, Airflo, Vision, G-Loomis, Sage, the Caledonia Fly
Company and many more.
Rods are
also available for hire from our shop. Demo rods available - so why not try before you buy!!

LAKE RULES & REGULATIONS
Catch & Keep Tickets - all fish being kept must be those
caught first thereafter going on to catch and release. (All Brown Trout must be returned to the lake).
No propellors, flickers, spinners, set lines, groundbaiting or baited flies. No powerbait allowed.
Fish
to be released should be left in the water at all times.
Barbless or debarbed hooks only.
All nets
must be disinfected in the trays provided.
A maximum of
2 flies can be used up to size 10. No large lures.
Minimum
tippett strength 6lbs.
No boobies or booby-style fishing.
Transferring of fish to other anglers is not allowed.
The fishery reserves the right to inspect bags and vehicles at any time without giving
a reason.
We encourage children to fish at our lakes, but
would request that children under the age of 12 years old not be left unsupervised.
No dogs allowed.
For
a peaceful environment please make as little noise or distubance as possible.
Please put litter and leader materials in the bins provided.
The fishery has a legal right to refuse admission to any person.
