The Chatton Trout Fishery is now open every day from 8:30am - dusk.
The fishery boasts impressive views and a tranquil setting. We are
pleased to announce the opening of our snack bar and tackle shop in our recently constructed log cabin on site.
Our snack bar offers bacon rolls, hot and cold drinks and soup for those
winter days.
We also have a tackle shop providing you with a range of fishing equipment

UPDATE - Fly Fishing tuition is now available by prior

Lake Rules & Regulations

Fish to be kept must be first fish caught

No propellors, flickers, spinners, set lines, groundbaiting or baited flies

Fish to be released should be left in the water at all times

Barbless or debarbed hooks only

All nets must be disinfected in the trays provided

A maximum of 2 flies can be used up to size 10. No large lures

Minimum tippett strength 6lbs

No boobies or booby-style fishing

Transferring of fish to other anglers is not allowed

The fishery reserves the right to inspect bags and vehicles at any time without giving
a reason

We encourage children to fish at our lakes, but would request that children under
the age of 12 years old not be left unsupervised

No dogs allowed

For a peaceful environment please make as little noise or distubance as possible

Please put litter and leader materials in the bins provided

The fishery has a legal right to refuse admission to any person
