The fishery will be open daily from 8.30am until 4pm.
All three lakes are stocked twice a week during the shorter days.
FISHING REPORT to Saturday 7th December, 2013
Sport has been slightly more challenging since last weeks gales - bloodworms, diawl bachs, yellow dancers, consett budgie and black fritzs have had success this week.
John Davison from Wooler returned a 15lb rainbow to chatton lake which he caught on a consett budgie.
Derrick Brown from Ashington returned a 9lb rainbow to Ross Lake using an olive bloodworm.
Ralph Holmes from Thropton returned a 12lb rainbow to Dunnydeer Lake.

Christmas Party & Fishing Sunday 15th December
The last event for 2013 will be held at Chatton Trout Fishery with the lovely Chatton Ladies. We hope you will agree we’ve made it a Family Day, and something to look forward to at the end of the season. Its going to be a day of fun, fishing and fun, with expert tuition and advice as always.
The event is on Sunday 15th December and the day is as follows:
9.00 – 9.30 Meet and greet
9.30 -10.00 Introduction and safety talk
10.00 – 1.00 Fishing. The following sessions are available during the morning – tie the Jack Frost fly, the ultimate Christmas fishing fly from Santa. Beginners introduction to fly fishing and fly tying. Junior fishing sessions beginners and advanced.
1.00 – 2.00 Lunch.
2.00 – 3.30 Outdoor family fishing games organised by Cliff and Anne. A selection of fun games from ‘Hoy Scotty’ to ‘Speedy life-vest’ to’Cast The Time’ and many more fun fishing games.
3.30 – 4.00 Santa will be making a special appearance on his way back to the North Pole, we will be keeping you up to date with Santa’s progress to Chatton Trout Fishery from December 1st.
4.00 Raffle to be drawn. Winners of Chatton Lady, Ladies Fishing and Young Rod for 2013.

Price £10 Adults.
This event is free for juniors accompanied with a fee paying adult.
The day includes lunch for everyone. Materials for fly dressing and a gift from Santa for all juniors.
This event is open to ladies, including husbands, partners and children etc.to say thank you for your support during 2013.
