A Salmon Workshop is going to be held over 3 months aimed at beginners and anglers who would like to learn more about fishing for salmon. The workshop is run by AAPGAI Master in the double handed rod - Paul Little. The course covers equipment, flies, water craft, casting and is supplemented with learning materials written and video. Places must be booked with Paul Little on 07885 465704.

Brian lives locally to the Fishery and has been a friend of the Brown family who own the fishery for many years. He has provided tuition at Chatton Trout Fishery since its opening in 2007, is ideally suited to share his wide knowledge of fly fishing with both complete novices and those wishing to expand their skill and technique.

Tuition is tailored to the individual, ranging from the basics of setting up tackle, choice of flies, casting and advice on the choice of equipment.

Brian has over thirty years experience in all aspects of fly-fishing, is qualified to work with children and has CRB clearance. He provides all necessary equipment and offers excellent tuition at an affordable rate for adults, children and small groups.

Bob is a local person who has lived and fished in Northumberland all his life. He is a member of the prestigious Hardy and Greys Game Fishing Academy of Fly Fishing Instructors.

Bob is a very passionate fly fisherman and is a qualified Game Angling Instructors Association coach (GAIC) and also holds a Level 2 in Coaching Angling (L2CAA).

Bob has fished and provided tuition at Chatton Trout Fishery since its opening. Being a co-author of North East Stillwater Trout Fishing, Bob brings his many years of experience and extensive knowledge of the region's stillwaters to ensure that both youngsters and adults have a successful experience at Chatton.

As a licensed fly fishing instructor, Bob holds a 1st Aid qualification, isinsured, has CRB clearance and is qualified to work with children.

Bob can provide tuition and guiding at Chatton Trout Fishery or on various private beats on local rivers. Courses for individuals, or corporate days can be arranged with the emphasis on anglers having fun and enjoyment.

Lucy Bowden is the UK’s youngest female Level 2 UKCC game angling coach. Born and raised in Northumberland, Lucy works at Hardy & Greys in Alnwick as a Marketing Executive.
Lucy has been going fishing for over twenty years after her father introduced her into the sport.
Lucy offers fly fishing coaching at Chatton Trout Fishery and can cater for individuals or groups. From how to set up your fishing equipment to learning to cast, Lucy can provide all equipment, is CRB checked and holds a First Aid certificate.
